Mineral rod mill is used for the grinding and crushing of all kinds of metal and nonmetal minerals in water conservancy and building materials departments. As a type of rod grinding mill, it is especially used for crushing minerals such as iron ore, quartz, white mica, orthoclase and calcite etc. These minerals formed in the geological process are all homogeneous solid, which can be presented by chemical formula.
As a large scale machine, the mineral rod mill needs to be examined regularly, and the scale board should be changed at a fixed period. The barrel, on top of which there is a hole, is an important part of the rod grinding machine. There are feeding part and discharging part which is used for the discharging of the qualified products. Transmission part and the main bearing are the remaining constituent parts. The transmission of the rod grinding machine has a direction and it can be installed on the right or the left.
The barrel of the rotary rod mill is motored via the reduction gear with the rotatation of the barrel. The crushed ores and the steel bars will rotate at the same time. After being carried to a certain height, the materials and the barrels will fall down at the same time; and under the impact, the materials will be shattered and crushed. Minerals get into the rod grinding machine via the feeder, the crushed products will be discharged from the discharging part and the rod mill will run continually.
