Mineral rod mill introduction

Mineral rod mill is used for the grinding and crushing of all kinds of metal and nonmetal minerals in water conservancy and building materials departments. As a type of rod grinding mill, it is especially used to crush minerals such as iron ore, quartz, white mica, orthoclase and calcite etc.. These minerals formed in the geological process are all  homogeneous solid, which can be presented by chemical formula. 

The components of mineral rod mill

As a large scale equipment, the mineral rod mill needs to be examined regularly, and the  scale board should be changed at fixed period. The barrel, at the top, there is a hole, is an important part of the rod grinding machine. There are  feeding part  and discharging part which is used for the discharging of the qualified products. Transmission part and the main bearing are the remaining constituent parts. The transmission of the rod grinding machine has a direction, it can be on the right or the left. 

Rotary rod mill introduction

The barrel of the rotary rod mill is motored via the reduction gear  with the rotatation of the barrel. The crushed ores and the steel bars will rotate at the same time. After being carried to certain height, the materials and the barrels will fall down at the same time, and under the impact, the materials will be shattered and crushed. 

Minerals get into the rod grinding machine via the feeder, the crushed products will be discharged from the discharging part and the rod mill continually. Actually, the barrel of the rotary rod mill is driven by the electric motor, and the steel bars can be used as the grinding mediums to impact, crush and grind materials, With the rotatation of the rod mill and through overflow and feeding, products are discharged. This rod mill can work constantly for 24 hours per day.
