The drying efficiency of the heat energy consumption of the dryer machine has been become the important criterion for measuring the quality of the dryer, which gradually leads to universal attention of the various types of enterprises. As a result, the equipment manufacturers put the increasing production and energy conservation of the drying system as the top priority of the work. It is necessary to seek the rationalization of the drying system configuration from the start of the design of the dryer. New technologies should be used to improve optimization of the drying line for those production equipments that have been built and put in use.
The finer of the material particles during the drying operation, the material flow and the uniformity will be better ,which will make the movement of the material encounter smaller hysteresis in the whole drying system. From another perspective, the smaller the particle size, the larger heating area of the material, the evaporation intensity will be higher and the drying effect will be better. Conversely, if the material is large particle and in lumps, it will easily generate the gas film and the hard layer which will play a hampering role for the heat and mass transfer of the inner material. As a result, the drying clay or the drying operation of the shale should be crushed well. In this way, the material can be dried well and fast. Another point worth noting is that a uniform and stable state should be kept in the processing of feeding, which is also the premise of uniform flow of the material. On one hand, doing this can ensure that the balance of the heat load and the stability of the thermal system of the dryer and ensure that the moisture of the material after drying can be kept consistently to reduce the degree of loss of the dryer and further prolong the service life of the dryer and electrostatic precipitator. On the other hand, doing this can easily and accurately grasp and control the temperature of the exhaust gas.
Of course, there is a certain shortcoming existing in this kind of the drying equipment. The common rotary drum dryers on the market mostly use the oblique tube for feeding. High furnace temperature and big load changes have caused serious deformation damage phenomenon and the replacement is quite trouble. More serious, the slip tube after bending deformation often leverages the roof the furnace or the fire block ring of the dryer. Air leakage and material leakage will exist in the ring after it is leveraged, which will substantially reduce the thermal efficiency and the service life of the dryer.
