With large loading capacity and power consumption, the industrial grinding machines usually adopt 1-2 high-capacity motors to drive hard cylinder gear reducer via hydraulic clutch and drive barrel through gear wheel. Thus the ball mill can be used for grinding materials. The industrial ball mill is of low speed and heavy loading equipment and additional start motor, and soft start device will be used in order to launch. There is large scope for saving energy because the torque will reduce after the start.
The main engine of the grinding machine is composed of the barrel and the bearings are used for sustaining the rotation and the driver parts such as motor, belt pulley and v-belt etc. The helical blade can not be specified as the part of the industrial grinding machine if there is helical conveyor in the auxiliary equipment of the discharge.
According to the materials to be processed and the way of ore discharging, wet type and dry type ball grinder can be selected.
According to the transmission model, it can be divided into center driving mill and edge driving mill. The motor of the center driving mill will drive the discharge end hollow shaft to start to mill. As mentioned above, according to the technological operation, there are wet and dry type grinding machine, intermittent and continuity grinding machine. Due to the large electric consumption and complicated operation maintenance, the intermittent grinding machines are rarely used and they are adopted in the laboratory test.
Firstly, the ball mill can't be operated before materials are fed for fear of danger. The ball mill must be laid flat on the ground and be fastened by bolt.
Secondly, check whether the rotating parts are flexible or there is collision phenomenon among other components or electric appliance terminals are fixed enough or the reducer is fully filled with oil.
Lastly, after being stopped, the ball mill needs careful cleaning without further feeding in materials. Otherwise, the impellers will be pressed and motor burned.
